Hi, my name is Leslie Kidd and I am from Asheboro, NC. I am an occupational therapist and the owner of Kidd’s Connect OT. I attended UNC-Chapel Hill where I got my undergrad degree in Exercise and Sports Science and Master’s of Occupational Science. I have been an occupational therapist since 2006 and have worked in outpatient and home settings with adults and children, also working with the CDSA- Early Intervention program. My passion is working with children of all ages, which I have done for the majority of my career. I enjoy working with children of all diagnoses; including Autism, Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, feeding disorders, fine/visual motor delays, weakness, and visual perceptual deficits.
On a personal note, I was raised in a close-knit family that was involved in our church and community. I have a twin sister who is a pediatric physical therapist and a younger sister who was my inspiration for getting into the medical field. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, going to the beach, and being involved in my church.
